Frida Kahlo, Mexican artist of great influence among the new generations of artists is in the Mission neighborhood as part of MAPP – Mission Arts Performance Project – in shows that both pay homage and denounce the voice of Frida beyond the walls of commerce that revolve around her work. MCCLA invited 15 artists from the community to portray their vision of the artist that revolutionized the concept of pain and suffering in art.

Frida Kahlo, artista mexicana de gran influencia en las nuevas generaciones de artistas, esta en el barrio de la Mission como parte del MAPP -Mission Arts Performance Project- en shows que son un homenaje y a la vez denuncia de la voz de Frida más allá de las paredes del comercio que hay en torno a su obra.
